Blues Junior Player Makes Canada Roster

Here is the link to Damon Adams’ fundraising page with Rugby Canada.  Damon is one of our U18’s who has moved out to BC to be able to this winter and to train with Canada.  He played the two matches against the US in December/January going 1 win and 1 loss.

Blues Winter Training

Great numbers to start out 2017. 25+ guys at training in January is a great sign.

Winter training continues this Saturday with the senior men, who are encouraging the juniors to join them. With 10 sessions, at the Lees Dome, we should have a great ability to keep our bodies ready for the season. These are full contact training sessions, with coaches being present and fun guaranteed. It is a 10$ drop in fee. JUNIORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO JOIN AND PARTICIPATE.

Elgin Sports is closing down

Long time Rugby Store in Downtown rugby is closing its doors. A message from Blues member and Manager Chris Rivet:

“Elgin Sports will officially be closing it’s doors February 28th!! So big deals going on now until then! So come on down and get what you can from the last remaining rugby store that has served the city from 1946-2017! All sales are final as a note! Please pass this message along through the rugby community! Thanks blues member Chris Rivet and all that have served the rugby community!”
