Bytown Blues Update for June 23rd

The time off is now here. 2 weeks of byes for the FRQ teams and 1 more week until the July 1st weekend. As Such there will be no Fitness this week (led by Geoff, if you want to do fitness you are free to meet on wednesday this week and next and do it yourself).

Training times this week:

Tuesday: Club Training

Canterbury High School:

U18: 18:00 – 20:00

Mens: 1830-2030

St Patrick’s High school:

U16: 17:30 – 19:30

Thursday: Team Training

Canterbury High School:

U18: 18:00 – 20:00

Mens: 1830-2030

St Patrick’s High school:

U16: 17:30 – 19:30

U18s who are registered and want to experience senior men’s training are encouraged and welcome to join us at these times. Those on representative U18 and U19 sides are expected to be at training


Rugby Canada 7s

In case you missed it last week Canada got beat by the new rugby machine knowns at the USA last week. This means that Canada will face Mexico in order to get a spot in the World Rugby Reportage.

Blues 1XV Fall on the Weekend

The Blues 1XV & 2XV travelled to Quebec City on the June 20th Weekend. the 2XV came away with a 19-5 win and the 1XV fell 28-19 in the effort.


Blues 3XV take on the Ottawa Wolves this weekend

Game is at 1330 at TERP. With the week off this will be very much a  coaches game where player who need time will get game time and those coming back form injury.
